Center for Asian Studies hosts music and dance from Thailand

WILLAMETTE UNIVERSITY (Oregon)

Dancers and musicians from Thailand who teach at Wat Buddhanusorn, a Thai Buddhist temple in Fremont, Calif., will perform at Willamette University’s Rogers Music Center March 14 from 7:30-9 p.m.

“A Concert of Music and Dance from Thailand” is sponsored by Willamette's Center for Asian Studies and begins with a ten-minute discussion by anthropology professor Pamela Moro. Amateurs from the temple will join a small ensemble of Thai performers for this free, family-friendly event.
