Buddhist era Stupa discovered in Swabi, Pakistan

Peshawar—The Department of Archaeology and Museums, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa during excavation has discovered relics of Buddhist era at Aziz Dheri, district Swabi.
The important relic amongst the discoveries is the Stupa of Buddhist era. According to a press release of the Department of Archaeology and Museums, the importance of this Stupa is recognized as holy and respectable in Buddhism. The Stupa is surrounded by statues.
