The Blessed Buddha once said:
Sangāhako mittakaro,
Vadaññū vītamaccharo,
Netā vinetā anunetā,
Tādiso labhate yasam.

Friendly + Unselfish = Honourable!
Who is hospitable, and friendly, generous and unselfish,
A guide, a teacher, a leader, such one will to honour attain.
Dīgha Nikāya 3.273
